The Star mC-Print3 MCP31CBI is a compact, high-speed thermal mPOS receipt printer designed for retail and hospitality use. It supports 58 mm and 80 mm paper widths and prints at up to 400 mm/s. The model includes USB-C (20W Power Delivery) for direct tablet connectivity and charging, Ethernet LAN with SteadyLAN, an integrated USB-A hub, Bluetooth connectivity, optional WLAN, IP22 splash and dust resistant housing, and a Paper Near End sensor. How to use

Load thermal paper into the printer using the top-loading mechanism, connect the printer to a tablet or POS system via USB-C, Bluetooth or Ethernet, and configure it with your POS or web ordering software. If using USB-C, the 20W Power Delivery port can charge compatible tablets while printing. For cloud-based or web printing, enable CloudPRNT on the printer and register it with your online ordering or POS platform following the provider’s integration instructions.

Recommendations

Use recommended thermal paper rolls for optimum print quality and longevity. Place the printer in a sheltered location away from direct splashes despite IP22 protection, and keep the paper path clean to prevent jams.
