The Bixolon XM7-40 is a rugged mobile label printer using direct thermal printing at 203 x 203 dpi. Designed for industrial and field use, it prints on 4-inch (112 mm) labels with a maximum printing width of 104 mm and offers wired and optional wireless connectivity. The compact unit includes an embedded peeler, a 240 x 320 pixel colour TFT display, USB Type-C power delivery charging for a smart battery, and physical drop protection to 2.1 metres with an IP54 ingress protection rating.

How to use

Load direct thermal labels into the media compartment according to the user manual, close the cover and power on the printer. Connect the printer to a host device via USB, RS-232, Bluetooth or WLAN; use NFC for quick Bluetooth pairing when supported by the host. Install required drivers or use compatible label software such as BarTender®, Label Artist™ or SAP® Smart Forms for direct printing. Use the TFT display and built-in menu to configure settings, check battery status and manage stored fonts or graphics.
