Stand mixer BLAUPUNKT SMM501 — 5 L stainless steel bowl, 1000 W, tilt-head, rotary control, white

The Blaupunkt SMM501 stand mixer combines a planetary mixing system with a 5 L stainless steel bowl to support home cooking and baking tasks. The unit is designed for mixing, kneading and whipping, with a compact footprint that fits most kitchens. The set includes a tamper for whipping, an aluminium hook and an aluminium stirrer; the steel bowl and tamper are dishwasher-safe.

Advantages

The mixer offers smooth electronic speed control and a planetary agitator that ensures thorough and even mixing. With a high-performance motor (rated at 1000 W in the product data and described up to 1500 W in the source text), it provides sufficient power for kneading dough and whipping eggs or creams. A broad speed range allows precise control: lower speeds suitable for dough kneading and higher speeds for whipping tasks. The 5 L steel bowl enables preparing large batches in one go.

Suitable for

• Kneading bread and pastry dough
• Mixing cake batters and cookie dough
• Whipping egg whites, creams and meringues
• Preparing large batch mixtures thanks to the 5 L bowl

How to use

Fit the required attachment (hook for dough, stirrer for batters, tamper for whipping) into the mixer head and secure the bowl in place. Select a low speed for kneading and gradually increase if needed; use higher speed settings when whipping egg whites or cream. The planetary mixing action will distribute ingredients evenly; monitor consistency and stop the mixer to scrape the bowl if necessary. After use, remove attachments and wash the stainless steel bowl and tamper in the dishwasher if desired; clean the aluminium hook and stirrer by hand.

Recommendations

For dough kneading start at the lower end of the speed range and work up to avoid overloading the motor. When whipping egg whites or cream, ensure the bowl and tamper are clean and dry for best results.
