The KIOXIA CD8P-V Series is a mixed-use data center NVMe SSD in a 2.5" form factor designed for scale-out and cloud workloads. The CD8P-V connects via PCIe 5.0 (32 GT/s x4) and uses KIOXIA BiCS FLASH™ generation 5 TLC to provide up to 1.6 TB capacity (other capacities available in the series), sustained random-read performance up to 2,000K IOPS and random-write performance up to 400K IOPS. The drive offers 3 DWPD endurance and delivers a 60–80% sequential read performance improvement compared with the previous PCIe 4.0 generation.
