How to use

Secure the cylindric shaft in a compatible drill chuck. Select a drill speed appropriate for the material (lower speeds for hard woods, moderate speeds for soft woods and plastics). Position the centring tip on the marked spot and start drilling with steady pressure. Allow the TwinLand® grooves to evacuate chips and periodically withdraw the bit for chip clearing when drilling deep holes. After use, clean the flutes and store the bit in its blister packaging to protect the cutting edges.

Recommendations

For best results use lower rotational speeds and steady feed when drilling hardwood decking to avoid overheating and burning. Apply light lubrication or compressed-air chip clearing only when drilling plastics to prevent melting. Check compatibility with your drill chuck size before use.
