Softbox Godox SB-GUE95 Black 95cm Nylon

The Godox SB-GUE95 softbox is a 95 cm diameter lighting modifier made from rip-stop nylon with a silver-lined interior. It uses an umbrella-style frame with elastic steel rods that stretch and hold the fabric under tension, allowing rapid setup and compact folding for storage in the supplied carry case. The softbox includes an internal diffuser, an external front diffuser, and a detachable honeycomb grid; it attaches via a Bowens-type mounting ring compatible with other Bowens-mount equipment.

Advantages

The umbrella-style frame enables quick assembly and disassembly, saving time on set. Rip-stop nylon construction makes the softbox lightweight yet resistant to mechanical damage. A silver interior and two diffusion layers produce even, soft light, while the included honeycomb grid offers additional control over light spread. The Bowens mount ensures compatibility with a wide range of studio flashes and continuous lights.

Suitable for

• Portrait and fashion photography
• Product and still-life shoots
• Studio and on-location lighting setups
• Video interviews and small video shoots

Key specifications

• Diameter: 95 cm
• Material: rip-stop nylon fabric with silver reflective interior
• Structure: umbrella-style frame with elastic steel rods
• Diffusion: internal diffuser plus external front diffuser
• Accessories: honeycomb grid and carrying case included
• Mount: Bowens-type mounting ring

How to use

Open the softbox by extending the umbrella-style frame until the rods lock and the fabric is held taut. Attach the Bowens mounting ring to a compatible flash or continuous light, then mount the light into the ring and secure it according to the lamp manufacturer’s instructions. Insert the internal diffuser and then attach the external front diffuser; affix the honeycomb grid to the front collar when directional control is required. Fold the softbox by releasing the frame and collapsing it into the carry case for transport or storage.

Recommendations

Use the internal and external diffusers together for the softest, most even light. Add the honeycomb grid to reduce spill and increase directionality for rim or accent lighting. Store the softbox dry and avoid excessive heat near hot light sources to preserve the rip-stop nylon and reflective lining.
