How to use

Attach the softbox rods to the Rotalux frame and mount the unit on a compatible light head. Fit the internal diffuser first for a base level of diffusion, then add the external diffuser if softer, more even light is required. Position the strip softbox vertically beside or behind the subject to create elongated highlights and control reflections; adjust distance and angle to refine softness and fall-off.

Recommendations

Use the strip softbox for reflective product surfaces at a slight angle to the camera to create consistent longitudinal highlights. For portraits, place the softbox at head height and tilt slightly downward for natural modelling. Store the softbox in the supplied carrying bag when not in use to protect the fabric and rods.
