The tool is hot-forged from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and features matt chrome-plating for a non-glare finish; the locking insert and pawl are manganese-phosphated. The wrench combines a stable hollow shaft (size no. 7) with the refined mechanism of the U-20 ratchets and can be used as a bit ratchet when paired with adaptor no. 7 RA or 7 RB (adaptors sold separately).
