Sleeping bag DEUTER Orbit SL 0°C / 32°F Adult mummy, PES ripstop fabric, width 740 mm, depth 470 mm

The Deuter Orbit SL 0C/32F is a women's-fit mummy sleeping bag designed for spring and autumn conditions. The shell fabric is made from 100% recycled materials and features a seamless construction to improve thermal efficiency and resist moisture. A 360° insulation system keeps the high-loft hollowfibre fill evenly distributed for consistent warmth and sleeping comfort. The bag includes practical details such as an anti-snag zipper guard, an internal valuables pocket, a contoured hood and a draft collar, and is made with a hardwearing ripstop shell fabric in green.

Advantages

The recycled shell fabric and seamless construction enhance moisture protection and heat retention while supporting sustainability. The 360° insulation prevents cold spots by holding the hollowfibre fill uniformly in place. Functional features—anti-snag zipper guard, valuables pocket, contoured hood and draft collar—improve usability and comfort. The ripstop outer increases durability for regular outdoor use. The SL (slim/short) fit is tailored to smaller body frames for improved thermal efficiency.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This sleeping bag is not intended for prolonged winter use in sub-zero conditions; its temperature rating and synthetic fill are optimized for transitional seasons rather than extreme cold. Users who require a roomier fit or a fully down-insulated bag for very cold, dry conditions may prefer a different model.

How to use

Unpack the sleeping bag and allow it to loft fully before first use. Use the contoured hood and draft collar to minimise heat loss; close the zipper fully while sleeping to maintain internal warmth and open venting as needed for comfort. Store the bag loosely in a dry place when not in use to preserve the hollowfibre loft and the recycled shell fabric's performance. Follow the manufacturer's care instructions for washing and drying to maintain insulation and fabric integrity.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For best performance, use this bag with an insulating sleeping pad and store it uncompressed between trips. If expecting wet conditions, rely on the synthetic insulation and the recycled ripstop shell for better moisture tolerance compared with down-filled models.
