The InLine® SFP Module 32335H is a powerful 2.5G 1310nm LX transceiver for use in professional fibre optic applications via singlemode fibres. With a transmission distance of up to 10 km, the module offers a reliable solution for network connections in campus or local areas.
The transceiver is MSA-compliant and supports the SFP form factor according to SFF-8472. It is suitable for applications such as STM-16, SDH/SONET, ATM switches or fibre channel connections. The combination of LC duplex connection, hot-plug capability and industrial-grade temperature range from 0°C to 70°C enables flexible and robust integration into existing systems.
Thanks to 1310 nm DFB laser technology and an integrated PIN TIA receiver unit, the module ensures stable and powerful data transmission at up to 2.5 Gb/s – ideal for companies that rely on high availability and standardised connectivity.

How to use

Install the SFP transceiver into an appropriate SFP slot on a compatible switch, router or media converter while the device is powered on or off according to the host equipment's guidelines. Connect a singlemode fiber patch cable with the correct connector type to the transceiver's optical port and verify link status via the host device LEDs or management interface. If the link does not come up, check fiber polarity, cleanliness of connectors and transceiver compatibility with the host device.

Recommendations

Before inserting the transceiver, ensure the fiber connectors are clean and protected. Use appropriate ESD precautions when handling the module and consult the host equipment documentation to confirm supported optical parameters. For reliable long-distance links, choose singlemode fiber of suitable class and maintain proper cable routing to avoid sharp bends and excessive attenuation.
