How to use

Insert the SFP transceiver into an empty SFP slot on a compatible switch, router or other network device while the device is powered according to the vendor instructions. Connect an LC simplex single-mode fiber patch cable to the module’s connector; observe the correct orientation for BX operation so that the transmitter of one end is connected to the receiver of the other. Verify the link status on the host device and check supported features such as Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) if available. Ensure software/firmware compatibility with the host hardware when installing third-party SFP modules.
