How to use

Insert the SFP transceiver into an empty SFP slot of a compatible switch, router or other network device while the device is powered on or according to the device manufacturer’s instructions. Connect LC duplex multimode fiber patch cables to the transceiver's LC ports, observing transmit (TX) and receive (RX) orientation. Configure the host device network settings as required for 1000Base-SX operation. If Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) is supported by the host hardware, enable and monitor diagnostic parameters such as optical power and temperature through the device management interface.
