The InLine® SFP Module 32335C is the ideal choice for reliable Gigabit connections over short to medium distances. With a data rate of 1.25 Gb/s and a range of up to 500 metres on multimode fibres, it is ideal for applications in office buildings, technical rooms and data centres.
The built-in 850 nm VCSEL laser enables low-loss data transmission via duplex LC connections with very low power consumption (< 1 W). The module complies with MSA specifications (SFF-8472) and is compatible with IEEE 802.3Z, allowing it to be flexibly combined with a wide range of network hardware.
Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) offers additional value for professional users, as important operating parameters such as temperature, voltage and reception level can be continuously monitored.
The module is hot-pluggable and can be replaced during operation – ideal for modern IT infrastructures with high availability requirements.

How to use

Insert the SFP transceiver into an available SFP slot on the switch, router or media converter until it seats securely. Connect an appropriate LC-terminated multimode fiber patch cable to the transceiver, ensuring correct transmit/receive orientation. Confirm link status and negotiated data rate on the network device management interface. For hot-swap replacement, power-down is generally not required, but follow vendor guidance for the host device when performing live swaps.

Use multimode fiber rated for the intended distance and follow bend-radius and connector cleanliness best practices to ensure signal integrity. Verify compatibility with the host device's SFP module support list and configure link settings as needed in the network equipment.
