The InLine® SFP Module 32335F is a high-range 1000BASE-ZX transceiver for demanding fibre optic applications. It operates with a DFB laser at 1550 nm and provides a reliable 1.25 Gb/s Gigabit connection over single-mode fibres with a length of up to 80 km.
The transmit power is between -2 and +5 dBm, and the receive sensitivity is at least -24 dBm. With a receiver range of 1260 nm to 1620 nm and overload protection of -3 dBm, the module ensures stable data transmission even under difficult link conditions.
Thanks to its LC duplex connection, MSA and IEEE 802.3z compatibility and hot-plug functionality, the module can be easily integrated into existing networks – whether in data centres, campus networks or wide area networks.

How to use

Insert the SFP module into a compatible SFP port on your switch, router or media converter while the host device is powered on if hot-plugging is supported. Secure the module in the cage, connect LC singlemode fiber patch cables observing correct polarity, and verify link status through the host device indicators or management interface. Allow time for the transceiver to synchronise and settle; check optical power and receive levels if link issues occur.

Recommendations

Use singlemode fiber with appropriate end-to-end attenuation budget and clean LC connectors to achieve the specified 80 km reach. Verify compatibility with the host device firmware and perform optical budget calculations including splice and connector losses before deployment.
