BlueOptics compatible Zyxel SFP10G-BX1270 10GBASE-BX-U SFP+ transceiver with LC Simplex connector is designed for single-mode fiber links and supports up to 10 Gbps over distances up to 10 km. It uses a 1330 nm transmitter and a 1270 nm receiver and follows MSA form-factor and signaling standards. The module is suitable for use in Zyxel hardware platforms that officially support the original Zyxel SFP10G-BX1270 module and can be used for Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet or SDH/SONET applications.

How to use

Install the SFP+ transceiver into the appropriate SFP+ slot of a supported Zyxel device or compatible network equipment, ensuring the host device supports the Zyxel SFP10G-BX1270 module. Connect a single-mode LC simplex patch cord to the transceiver and to the remote transceiver or patch panel. If monitoring is required, enable the DDM/DOM function on the host hardware to read supply voltage, laser bias, optical power and temperature. Follow standard ESD precautions when handling the module and observe manufacturer instructions for insertion and removal.
