AXIS FA1125 is a compact indoor sensor unit designed for discreet surveillance in environments such as stores, banks and integration inside machines. The unit is flush-mountable in walls, ceilings or metal panels so that only a small pinhole for the lens is visible. Used with an AXIS FA Main Unit, it delivers 1080p (1920 × 1080) resolution and a 91° horizontal field of view, and connects to the main unit via an 8 m (26 ft) cable. The sensor employs Forensic WDR tuned for motion to improve image detail in scenes with varying light levels.

How to use

Mount the AXIS FA1125 sensor unit flush into a wall, ceiling or metal panel using the supplied bracket so only the pinhole lens is exposed. Route the 8 m cable to an AXIS FA Main Unit and connect according to the main unit instructions. Configure the main unit’s video settings to use 1080p resolution and enable Forensic WDR tuned for motion if required. Position the sensor to cover the intended area and verify the field of view and image quality on the main unit.

Recommendations

Install the sensor where the small pinhole lens has an unobstructed view; avoid placing it directly facing strong light sources.
