Self-inflating Sleeping Mat Outwell Sleepin Single 5.0 cm

Outwell Sleepin Single 5.0 cm is a self-inflating sleeping mat designed for solo outdoor use. At 5.0 cm thickness it combines cushioning and thermal insulation to improve comfort when camping, staying in a caravan or sleeping outdoors. The mat inflates by opening its valve, rolls into a compact size and secures with included straps for convenient transport and storage, making it a practical addition to lightweight camping gear.

Advantages

The construction provides a balance of padding and heat retention to reduce ground chill and pressure points. Its self-inflating mechanism eliminates the need for a separate pump, allowing quick setup and pack-down. A durable outer fabric and reinforced seams enhance resistance to wear from normal outdoor use, while the compact roll-up format and securing straps simplify carrying and stowing.

Suitable for

• Summer and three-season camping trips
• Caravan and motorhome overnight stays
• Backyard sleepouts and festivals
• Hiking trips where a lightweight, compact sleeping pad is preferred

Key specifications

• Thickness: 5.0 cm for cushioning and insulation
• Single-person size suitable for one adult
• Self-inflating valve for quick setup without a pump
• Roll-up design with securing straps for compact storage
• Durable outer fabric and reinforced seams for outdoor use

How to use

Lay the mat flat on an even surface and open the valve to allow air to enter and foam to expand. Wait until the mat reaches the desired firmness; adjust by opening or closing the valve and pressing to release air for a firmer setup. To pack away, open the valve fully, roll the mat tightly from the opposite end toward the valve to expel air, then close the valve and secure the rolled mat with the straps for transport or storage.

Recommendations

Place the mat on a clean, debris-free groundsheet or inside a tent to protect the underside from sharp objects. Regularly inspect the surface and seams for damage and repair small punctures promptly using a suitable repair kit. Store the mat dry and rolled or loosely unrolled depending on manufacturer care instructions to maintain foam performance.
