Self-inflating sleeping mat easy camp Kestrel Mat Single 5.0 cm thickness

The easy camp Kestrel Mat Single is a self-inflating sleeping mat with a 5.0 cm foam core designed for single-person outdoor use. Combining closed-cell foam insulation and a user-operable valve, this mat provides a balance of comfort and thermal protection while remaining compact and transportable for camping, backpacking and other overnight outdoor activities.

Advantages

The 5.0 cm foam thickness offers improved insulation from cold ground and enhanced sleeping comfort compared with thinner pads. The integrated self-inflating design speeds setup and teardown by allowing air to enter the foam core through a valve, while the valve also enables rapid deflation and compact packing. Lightweight materials and a roll-up form factor make the mat easy to carry and store with trekking or camping gear.

Suitable for

• Backpacking and multi-day hikes where low weight and compact size are important
• Car camping and weekend trips requiring simple, quick sleeping setup
• Outdoor festivals and other overnight events where portable insulation is needed
• Emergency use as an insulating layer in shelters or vehicles

Key specifications

• Foam thickness: 5.0 cm providing thermal insulation and padding
• Construction: self-inflating foam core with valve for inflation and deflation
• Design: single-person mat intended for individual sleepers
• Portability: roll-up packing style for compact storage and transport
• Use environment: suitable for outdoor sleeping on ground surfaces

How to use

Unroll the mat on a clean, dry surface and open the valve to allow air to fill the foam core; the mat will self-inflate to most of its thickness. For firmer support, add a few breaths through the valve until the desired firmness is reached, then close the valve. To pack the mat, open the valve, roll the mat tightly from the end opposite the valve to expel air, close the valve when rolled, and secure with straps or the supplied storage bag.

Recommendations

Place a groundsheet or tent footprint underneath to protect the mat from sharp objects and abrasion. Regularly check and clean the valve and surface to maintain sealing performance. Store the mat dry and rolled or loosely folded in a ventilated area to preserve foam resilience and extend product life.
