Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

The Seagate Expansion desktop drive 12TB (model STKP12000400) is an external 3.5" hard drive with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, designed to provide large-capacity add-on storage for PCs and Macs. It offers 12,000 GB of space in a compact black enclosure and supports fast data transfer when connected to a USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 port. The drive is compatible with Windows and macOS and includes Rescue Data Recovery Services.

Advantages

This Seagate Expansion external hard drive provides high-capacity storage suitable for backups, multimedia libraries and large file archives. Setup is plug-and-play—connect the included power supply and USB cable and the drive is automatically recognised by supported operating systems, requiring no additional software installation. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface enables faster transfers compared with USB 2.0, and the enclosed desktop 3.5" form factor offers stable, reliable performance for continuous use.

Suitable for

  • Local backups of PC and Mac systems
  • Storing large photo, video and music libraries
  • Archiving project files and documents
  • Expanding storage for desktop computers and workstations

Key specifications

  • Model: STKP12000400
  • Capacity: 12,000 GB (12 TB)
  • Interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (compatible with USB 3.0 ports)
  • Drive size: 3.5" desktop HDD
  • Colour: Black
  • Weight: 1.176 kg

How to use

Place the drive on a stable surface and connect the included power adapter. Use the supplied USB cable to connect the Seagate Expansion drive to a USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 port on your PC or Mac. The operating system will automatically detect the drive; after recognition you can copy files using drag-and-drop or your preferred backup software. For best transfer speeds, connect to a USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 port.

Recommendations

Use the drive on a well-ventilated, stable surface and avoid moving it while powered. Regularly back up important data and consider enabling Rescue Data Recovery Services if data protection is required. Format the drive as needed for compatibility with your operating system before first use.
