How to use

Install the Exos X16 into a compatible 3.5" drive bay with a SATA III interface and connect power and data cables according to your server or storage enclosure documentation. Configure drive parameters in the host system or RAID controller as required (formatting, sector size 4Kn/512e if needed). For secure disposal or repurposing, initiate the Instant Secure Erase feature following Seagate’s procedure to cryptographically erase or reset encryption keys.
