Screw/Bolt Extractor Gedore 2836041 is a tool insert designed to fit into L-BOXX® systems and drawers with minimum internal dimensions of 400 x 310 x 60 mm. It is intended for extracting screws and bolts and for working on tightly packed components such as ball bearings, bearing races, bushings and Simmering® shaft seals with diameters from 12 to 35 mm. The insert includes a 1.7 kg sliding hammer and a counter-support brace, and it is equipped with a Check-Tool insert for quick completeness checks. Tools are fully recessed into the foam so the loaded insert can be stacked or retrofitted into existing L-BOXX®es (model 1100 CT2-1.30 to retrofit L-BOXX® 136).

How to use

Install the foam insert into a compatible L-BOXX® or drawer with the required minimum dimensions. Select the appropriate extractor for the bolt, screw, bearing or seal (Ø 12–35 mm) and assemble it with the sliding hammer and counter-support brace as needed. Secure the counter-support brace against the housing or adjacent structure, position the extractor on the workpiece, and apply controlled blows with the 1.7 kg sliding hammer to drive the component out along its axis. Use the Check-Tool insert to verify that all items are present before transport or deployment.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection and gloves) and ensure workpieces are supported to prevent damage. Do not exceed the extractor application range (Ø 12–35 mm). Store the insert in a compatible L-BOXX® or drawer to protect components and maintain organization.
