KWB 830460 sanding sheets (230 x 280 mm) are wet-and-dry abrasive sheets coated with silicon carbide. They are especially flexible, offer high stock removal and long life, and are available in very fine grits for vehicle refinishing and working with resin, varnish, paint, glass, stone, plastics and metal. Each pack contains 5 rectangular sheets sized 280 mm × 230 mm.

How to use

Select the appropriate grit for the material and stage of work (start with coarser grits for material removal, then move to fine grits for finishing). Use the sheet wet or dry according to the task; for wet use, apply water or suitable lubricant to reduce clogging and heat. Hold the sheet with a sanding block or use by hand, keeping even pressure and working along the surface until the desired result is reached. Replace sheets when abrasive performance decreases or the backing is damaged.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection and a dust mask) when sanding. Test on a small inconspicuous area before full application, especially on painted or delicate surfaces.
