Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.
Know our brand? Leave an honest review, send us a screenshot, and pick a free gift — shipped free of charge within 1–2 business days.

Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus ticks a lot of boxes. It has a good, big screen; versatile camera and long battery life. This might not be the most exciting phone of 2023, but it's a reliable device to have by your side. PROS

Pros
  • Perfect size
  • Long battery life
  • Years of software updates
Cons
  • Takes an age to charge
  • Camera is good, but struggles to standout at this price
  • A sharper resolution would have been nice

8/10

Verdict: There's a lot to love about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus its flat screen is more practical to use than the curved one of the S23 Ultra; the battery life is really impressive for this generation; and there's all the brightness, power and software ease-of-us...

Pros
  • Lovely flat-screen design and distinct camera arrangement
  • Smooth software performance
  • Solid battery life
Cons
  • It's really expensive, especially considering Pixel 7 Pro
  • No longer the camera champ, look at Xiaomi 13 Pro
  • The S23 Ultra is the all-in option

“I'm a bit torn over the loss of the Contour Cut camera on the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus. In Samsung's newest handset line – the S23 series – that raised bit of metal surrounding the camera array is gone.”

“Except the Ultra is still the top-end flagship Samsung wants you to buy. Yes, the Plus isn’t quite as expensive – although it is still very pricey – but it lacks the S Pen stylus and fancy new 200MP camera of the Ultra.”
