uvex pheos faceguard is an adaptable face protection multisystem designed for industrial applications. The system comes fully pre-assembled with a polycarbonate visor and integrated hearing protection. Its modular design allows replacement of individual parts and flexible configuration to suit different work environments and tasks.

Advantages

The faceguard offers a height- and width-adjustable head mount and a one-handed variable width adjustment for a comfortable fit for head sizes 52–64 cm. The robust polycarbonate visor is coated with uvex supravision excellence, providing permanent anti-fog protection on the inside and high resistance to chemicals and scratches on the outside. The visor features variable locking positions with a spring-loaded mechanism and a central parked position above the head to keep the centre of gravity neutral and reduce neck strain. The system includes pre-assembled earmuffs (uvex K1P SNR) that attach via a bayonet connection and can be removed at any time. The multisystem supports a wide range of accessories and replaceable spare parts and is certified according to EN 166 and EN 170, with area-of-application ratings 3 (liquids) and 9 (molten metal and hot solids). UV400 protection is provided.

How to use

Fit the head mount and adjust height and width to achieve a comfortable, stable fit for head sizes 52–64 cm. Ensure the visor locking position is set according to the working posture: use the parked central position above the head to maintain a neutral centre of gravity when the visor is not in use, or select one of the variable locking positions for active protection. Attach or remove the pre-assembled earmuffs using the bayonet connection as needed. Replace worn spare parts such as the visor, suspension harness, sweatband or earmuff cushions following the manufacturer’s instructions and using genuine replacement parts.
