How to use

Place the measuring jaws on the object for external measurements or insert the internal jaws into the bore for internal measurements. For depth measurement, use the measuring pole and rest the instrument on the reference surface while extending the pole into the feature. Read the value from the large LCD and switch units between mm and inch if required. Use the zero-point adjustment to set relative measurements before taking differences.

Recommendations

Store the slide gauge in its plastic box when not in use to protect the jaws and display. Avoid exposing the instrument to temperatures outside 0–40 °C and to strong impacts. Replace the SR44 battery as needed and switch off or rely on the 5-minute auto-off to preserve battery life.
