Shipping & Returns

The Cudy WR1300E Dual-band 2.4 GHz 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 router provides combined wireless speeds up to 1167 Mbit/s and Gigabit Ethernet ports for fast wired connections. Supporting dual-band operation (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac), the device includes four external antennas and flexible operating modes — router, extender, access point and WISP — to suit home or small office networks.

Advantages

Beamforming detects the direction of connected devices and concentrates the signal towards them to improve coverage and reduce dead zones. MU‑MIMO enables simultaneous data transmission to multiple devices, lowering latency for gaming and multiuser scenarios. The WR1300E supports guest networks, an SPI firewall, and VPN server/client (PPTP/L2TP) for remote access and additional security. A network status panel simplifies setup and per‑device Wi‑Fi scheduling helps manage online time for individual devices.

Suitable for

  • Home internet sharing from DSL or cable modem
  • Extending existing Wi‑Fi coverage while keeping the same SSID and password
  • Converting a wired network segment to wireless access (access point)
  • Creating a separate subnet via WISP mode for improved security
  • Small office networks needing Gigabit LAN and VPN support

Key specifications

  • Wi‑Fi bands: Dual‑band (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz)
  • Top Wi‑Fi standard: Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac)
  • Maximum WLAN data rate: 1167 Mbit/s
  • Ethernet LAN: Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbit/s)
  • Antennas: 4 external antennas
  • Security: WPA / WPA‑PSK / WPA2 / WPA2‑PSK, SPI firewall
  • VPN: Server and client support (PPTP/L2TP)
  • Colour: White

How to use

Connect the WR1300E to your DSL or cable modem via WAN port for router mode, or connect a LAN cable to convert it to an access point. Use the web interface or setup panel to select operating mode (Router, Extender, Access Point, WISP), configure wireless SSID and password, and enable guest network or VPN features as needed. Position the router centrally or towards coverage gaps when using as a primary router or extender to benefit from beamforming and the four external antennas.

Recommendations

For best performance, place the router elevated and away from large metal objects or microwaves; use the 5 GHz band for low‑latency activities like gaming and 2.4 GHz for wider coverage. Enable MU‑MIMO and beamforming in the settings when multiple compatible clients are present, and configure per‑device Wi‑Fi schedules to manage access times.
