Robot vacuum cleaner Xiaomi X20 Max — 8000 Pa, 5200 mAh, LDS navigation, wet mopping, bagless, 35 cm Ø

The Xiaomi X20 Max is an all-in-one robot vacuum and mop with an automated base station that washes and hot-air dries mop pads, and collects dust into a large dust bag. It combines LDS laser navigation and a high-precision obstacle avoidance system for efficient, planned cleaning across the home. The unit includes a 4 L clean water tank and a 3.8 L dirty water tank, enabling a single cleaning of up to 120 m², and supports app control via Mi Home / Xiaomi Home.

Advantages

The automatic base station soaks, spins and rinses dual rotary mop pads, then dries them with hot air (drying completed in as fast as three hours under specified conditions) to reduce mould and odours. Automatic dust collection transfers debris into a 2.5 L dust bag, reducing the frequency of manual emptying. Dual high-speed rotating mop pads and adjustable water flow with multiple suction levels allow combined vacuum-and-mop operation tailored to different surfaces. Detachable cleaning tray and large-capacity tanks simplify maintenance and allow extended cleaning sessions without interruptions.

Suitable for

• Homes with mixed hard floors and carpets
• Medium to large apartments up to about 120 m² per cleaning cycle
• Users who prefer hands-free mop washing and dust disposal
• Scheduled and remote-controlled cleaning via Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app

How to use

Place the base station on a level floor with sufficient clearance on both sides and connect it to power. Fill the clean water tank and ensure the dust bag is installed. Start cleaning from the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app or the robot’s controls; the robot will perform a 360° scan, plan a route and execute cleaning according to the selected mode. After mopping, the robot returns to the base station for automatic mop washing and hot-air drying; dust is transferred into the dust bag automatically. Empty the dust bag and clean the detachable tray and tanks at recommended intervals.

Recommendations

For best results, remove loose cords and small objects from floors before operation, use the app to set no-go zones for fragile areas, and perform regular cleaning of the detachable tray, filters and water tanks. Replace the dust bag according to usage; a 2.5 L bag typically requires emptying roughly once every 75 days under standard conditions.
