ROBITRONIC Electrical switch with voltage indicator

The Powerswitch is an electrical switch designed to replace mechanical switches for the receiver and servo supply in nitro cars.

Completely sealed against dust and water, this rugged switch features an exact charge level indicator with three LEDs and is programmable for 2S LiPo, 2S LiFe, and 5-cell NiMH batteries.

Utilizing MosFET technology, it handles large currents up to 10A, making it suitable even for big-scale cars with up to three servos.

It offers extremely low current draw when switched off, very low internal resistance for minimal losses, and built-in error detection for bad contacts or batteries.

With an input voltage of 3.5 to 10V, it measures approximately 25 x 17 x 7.6mm and weighs about 9g.

The Powerswitch replaces the mechanical switch for the receiver and servo supply in nitro cars. It switches the receiver supply on and off inside the car and indicates remaining battery capacity and error conditions.

MosFET technology enables the Powerswitch to handle large currents despite its small size; it can be used in large-scale cars with up to 3 servos.

Its low current draw when switched off allows it to remain connected to the receiver battery for longer periods. For example, a fully charged 1600 mAh battery would last about 950 days.

• The Powerswitch is only a switch: when switched on, it forwards the input voltage directly to the output. With a 7.4 V LiPo battery, the receiver and servos must be able to handle that voltage.
