The EFB Elektronik 691659V3 rack cooling unit is designed for installation in the roof of networking and server cabinets. It features six fans for efficient air movement, an illuminated ON/OFF switch and rear-sided IEC C14 power inlet; thermostat and mounting material are included. The metal housing is made from steel sheet and is available in RAL7035 light grey with RAL9005 jet black accents. Rated voltage is 230 V, 50 Hz. Mounting to 19" racks is possible with the optional mounting set (Art.-No. 691654MS / 691654MSTS).

How to use

Install the cooling unit in the roof of the cabinet following the cabinet manufacturer's guidelines. If a 19" rack fit is required, attach the optional mounting set (Art.-No. 691654MS / 691654MSTS). Connect mains power to the rear IEC C14 inlet using a suitable power cable (not included). Connect and set the external thermostat (Art.-No. 691642) to the desired switching temperature to enable automatic control of the fans. Use the illuminated ON/OFF switch for manual power control. Ensure the rear earth jack is properly connected to the cabinet earth.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, select a power cable rated for 230 V and ensure the thermostat is configured according to the heat load of the installed equipment. Maintain clear airflow paths and perform periodic checks of the fans and electrical connections. Use the optional 19" mounting set when integrating into rack-mount enclosures.
