Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

The Turtle Beach Racer Wireless Racing Wheel (Gearbox, model TBR-2102-05) is an all-in-one wireless racing wheel officially licensed for Xbox consoles and compatible with Windows PC and Android devices. It connects via a proprietary low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless link up to 30 ft and also supports Bluetooth 5.1 for Android devices. The Racer includes an adjustable non-slip lap mount and integrated table clamps for flexible setups and has a built-in battery with up to 30 hours of runtime.

Advantages

The Racer provides a complete wheel-based control experience without the need for separate pedals by offering dedicated analog paddles and thumb buttons for throttle, brake and gear shifts. Its 2.4 GHz wireless connection delivers low-latency performance up to 30 ft from the console or PC, while Bluetooth 5.1 allows connection to compatible mobile devices. A long-lasting internal battery supports up to 30 hours of play and a 10 ft USB play-and-charge cable lets you continue playing while recharging. The wheel can operate in controller mode for driving games that lack native wheel support.

Suitable for

  • Console racing on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One
  • Racing and driving games on Windows PC
  • Casual mobile racing via Android devices (Bluetooth)
  • Play-from-couch sessions using the lap mount
  • Desk or table mounting with integrated clamps

Key specifications

  • Brand: Turtle Beach
  • Model / MPN: TBR-2102-05
  • EAN: 840454400236
  • Device type: Gearbox / Racing wheel
  • Connectivity: 2.4 GHz RF (proprietary), Bluetooth 5.1, USB (play-and-charge)
  • Wireless range: up to 30 ft (approx. 9 m)
  • Battery: built-in rechargeable, up to 30 hours
  • Colour: Black
  • Platforms supported: Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Xbox One, Windows PC, Android

How to use

Charge the wheel before first use using the supplied USB cable. For Xbox and PC connection use the included 2.4 GHz wireless adapter or the console’s native pairing procedure as described in the game or system manual. To use with Android devices, pair via Bluetooth 5.1. Secure the wheel on your lap using the adjustable non-slip lap rest for couch play or attach the integrated clamps to a table or desk for a fixed setup. Use the analog paddles and thumb buttons on the wheel to control throttle, brake and gear shifts; switch to controller mode when playing driving titles that do not support wheel input.

Recommendations

For best performance maintain a clear line of sight between the wheel and the wireless receiver, keep firmware and system software up to date, and use the table clamps for stable desktop play or the lap mount for relaxed couch sessions.
