Verify the total power consumption of connected devices before use and distribute high-load appliances across separate circuits if necessary. Do not use the extension with devices that require uninterrupted power protection unless an additional surge protector or UPS is employed. Regularly inspect the cable and housing for damage and replace the unit if any faults are found.
