How to use

Fill the water tank according to the manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the unit is unplugged during filling. Plug in the device and allow the Polti SV440 to reach operating temperature (approximately 15 seconds). Select the appropriate accessory for the surface to be cleaned and begin treating the area with short steam bursts, keeping the nozzle at the recommended distance from delicate materials. Move the nozzle methodically across the surface to loosen dirt and wipe away loosened soil with a suitable cloth or mop. Allow surfaces to cool and dry before resuming use.

Recommendations

Use only clean water in the tank to avoid deposits and follow the accessory guidance for specific surfaces. Test steam on a small hidden area before use on delicate fabrics or finishes. Allow the unit to cool before emptying residual water. Regular descaling is recommended in areas with hard water to maintain heating efficiency and prolong the appliance’s service life.
