The ALLNET ALL048900V2 PoE adapter supplies power and data over a single network cable, enabling installation of PoE-capable end devices where no power outlets are available. It supports IEEE802.3af (15.4 W), IEEE802.3at (30 W) and the LT PoE standard (up to 90 W). The adapter is compact, housed in a metal case, and provides one data input port and one Power+Data output port for Gigabit Ethernet connections.

How to use

Connect the ALL048900V2 RJ45 data input port to a network switch or router using a standard Ethernet cable, then connect the RJ45 output port to the PoE device (PD). The adapter requires no configuration and will automatically detect whether the connected device supports PoE and supply power accordingly. Follow standard Ethernet cabling rules: keep a maximum single-cable segment up to 100 metres between switch and terminal unless using approved repeaters or extenders.

Recommendations

Use CAT6 cabling and compatible repeaters/splitters for longer runs or to carry higher PoE power levels. When powering high-wattage devices, verify the device's power class and ensure cable and network components are rated for the required current and heat dissipation.
