How to use

Peel the adhesive backing and attach the sensor and magnet to the two corresponding parts of the door, window or cabinet so that they align when closed. Add the sensor to a compatible ZigBee hub following the hub manufacturer’s pairing instructions; after pairing, configure notifications, automations or actions such as turning on lights when the contact is opened. Replace the CR2 battery when device notifications or the hub indicate low battery.

Install the sensor on clean, dry surfaces and avoid placing it where heavy impact or constant vibration may misalign the magnet. Verify ZigBee range and hub compatibility before final placement and keep spare CR2 batteries accessible for timely replacement.
