Philips Curved Business Monitor 45B1U6900C/00 44.5 inch VA 5120×1440 32:9 HDR 75Hz 4ms 450 cd/m² Black

The Philips Curved Business Monitor 45B1U6900C/00 is a 44.5" ultrawide VA display with a 5120×1440 resolution and a 32:9 aspect ratio, engineered for professional multitasking and extended desktop workflows. The curved screen design reduces eye movement across wide spreadsheets and multiple application windows, while HDR support and a peak brightness of 450 cd/m² improve contrast and detail in supported content. With a 75 Hz refresh rate and a 4 ms response time, the monitor balances smooth motion with crisp image clarity suitable for business use.

Advantages

The large 44.5" ultrawide panel replaces multi-monitor setups by combining extensive horizontal workspace with a single seamless screen, reducing bezels and cable clutter. VA panel technology delivers deep blacks and high contrast ratios for improved readability of charts and text. HDR support and a high peak luminance enhance visibility in bright areas of the image, while the 75 Hz refresh rate and 4 ms response time keep motion artifacts to a minimum during window and cursor movements. Dual HDMI ports simplify connections to laptops, desktops, or media devices.

Suitable for

• Financial trading and market monitoring with multiple real-time charts
• Content creation and video editing timelines requiring wide horizontal space
• Large spreadsheets, data analysis and multitasking with many open windows
• Office productivity workflows that benefit from a single continuous desktop
• Presentations and collaboration where sharing an extended view is useful

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or compatible mount and connect your primary device using one of the HDMI ports. Adjust display settings from your operating system to set the native 5120×1440 resolution and choose scaling appropriate for text and application sizes. Use the on-screen menu to fine-tune brightness, contrast, and HDR mode where applicable. For multi-device setups, connect the second source to the other HDMI input and switch inputs as needed. Position the curved screen so the center of the panel aligns with your eye level to minimize neck movement during extended use.

Recommendations

For optimal productivity, use the ultrawide workspace to arrange applications side by side—such as a spreadsheet, reference document and communication tool—reducing the need to switch windows. When working with HDR content, enable HDR in both your operating system and the monitor menu to ensure proper tone mapping. Maintain a viewing distance of roughly arm's length to take advantage of the curved field without noticeable distortion, and consider using an adjustable monitor arm for ergonomic positioning.
