Adjust the fabric setting if available and begin ironing on an ironing board, applying steam as needed for stubborn creases. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright at a short distance from the fabric and apply short bursts of steam. After use, switch off and unplug the iron, empty the water tank and allow the soleplate to cool before storage.

Recommendations

Use the SteamGlide Elite soleplate for a range of fabric types, starting with lower heat settings for delicate materials and increasing heat for denser fabrics. Regularly use the Quick Calc Release to remove mineral deposits and preserve steam performance. Store the iron in an upright position in a dry place and avoid leaving water in the tank between uses.
