How to use

Select the appropriate mode with the rotary switch: drilling with impact for masonry and concrete, drilling without impact for wood and metal, or rotation stop for chiselling. Insert an SDS-plus bit or use the adapter/keyed chuck for standard bits and tighten securely. Use the speed-controlled trigger to start slowly on delicate materials, then increase to full speed as needed. For chiselling, set Vario-Lock to the required chisel angle and engage the rotation stop before starting.

Recommendations

For longer tool life and consistent performance, use appropriate SDS-plus bits for masonry, change to the adapter/keyed chuck for wood or screw-driving tasks, and wear suitable eye, ear and dust protection during drilling and chiselling operations.
