PC case CORSAIR FRAME 4000D RS Midi Tower — black, EATX support, tempered glass, USB-C, 3x120mm front fans

The CORSAIR FRAME 4000D RS Midi Tower is a black PC case engineered for high airflow and flexible modular upgrades. It ships with three RS120 PWM front fans and supports a wide range of motherboards (Mini-ITX, Micro ATX, ATX, EATX), multiple storage drives, and extensive radiator and fan configurations. The case includes a GPU anti-sag stabilization arm, a cable shroud for neat cable management, tempered glass side panel, and modern front I/O featuring a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports.

Advantages

The FRAME 4000D RS provides near-limitless modular customization through the FRAME Modular Case System, allowing component upgrades such as alternate motherboard trays or front I/O panels. Its InfiniRail multi-point steel mounting system enables precise placement of fans up to 200 mm in the front and 140 mm in the roof. The redesigned 3D Y-pattern steel front panel improves airflow by up to 12% while supporting up to 12x 120 mm fans and up to dual 360 mm radiators for enhanced cooling capacity.

Suitable for

• High-airflow gaming and performance builds
• Custom cooling setups with multiple radiators and fans
• Upgrading or expanding systems that require modular component swaps
• Systems where clean cable routing and a tempered glass side panel are desired

How to use

Install the desired compatible motherboard and route power and data cables through the provided channels and the cable shroud to maintain unobstructed airflow. Mount fans and radiators on the InfiniRail system to position cooling exactly where needed; the front rail supports larger fans up to 200 mm while the roof supports up to 140 mm. Secure the graphics card and reduce GPU sag using the included anti-sag stabilization arm. Connect front I/O to the motherboard headers, including the USB Type-C connector, and verify fan PWM connections for controlled cooling performance.

Recommendations

For optimal cooling performance, use the included RS120 PWM fans and plan intake/exhaust fan placement to create directed airflow. When installing multiple radiators, confirm radiator and fan thickness clearance in your chosen mounting positions and use careful cable routing to preserve airflow through the 3D Y-pattern front panel.
