PATCHBOX® Cassettes form the modular front elements for PATCHBOX® frames and contain a patented mechanism for organized cable routing inside network cabinets. This Cat6a U/FTP (STP) networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends is 2.5 m long and fitted with gold-plated contacts to improve connection reliability and resist corrosion. The product is designed for applications requiring Cat6a performance and reduced electromagnetic interference.

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plug on one end to a network switch, patch panel or wall socket and the other end to the target device such as a server, computer, VoIP phone or access point. Route the cable through the PATCHBOX® Cassette mechanism when installing into a PATCHBOX® Frame (Plus+ or 365) to achieve neat cable management and strain relief. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to confirm a secure connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable and maintain recommended bend radii. Use shielded connectors and properly grounded PATCHBOX® frames when operating in high-interference environments. Combine with matching PATCHBOX® Frames and, if necessary, select fiber options for backbone connections.
