Outdoor Bullet Camera Reolink Altas Series G650 with SolarPanel 3 — 4 MP, 4mm, IP66, H.264/H.265, Micro SD up to 512GB

Reolink Altas Series G650 with SolarPanel 3 is an outdoor bullet camera offering 4 MP (2560×1440) resolution with a fixed 4 mm lens. Built for continuous outdoor monitoring, the camera supports H.264 and H.265 video compression and accepts local Micro SD storage up to 512 GB. The IP66-rated housing provides protection against dust and powerful water jets, making the unit suitable for exposed installations paired with the included SolarPanel 3 for remote power supply.

Advantages

The camera combines high-definition 4 MP imaging with efficient H.265 compression to reduce bandwidth and storage needs while maintaining image detail. A compact bullet chassis with IP66 protection ensures reliable outdoor operation in varied weather conditions. Built-in support for Micro SD cards up to 512 GB enables continuous or scheduled local recording without mandatory cloud subscriptions. SolarPanel 3 compatibility allows off-grid installations and flexible placement where mains power is not available.

Insert a Micro SD card (sold separately) up to 512 GB for local recording, or connect to a compatible Reolink recorder or network to use network storage. Configure video resolution, compression (H.264/H.265), motion detection and recording schedules through the Reolink app or web interface. Verify IP66 seals and cable connections to maintain weather resistance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the SolarPanel 3 where it receives maximum sunlight and periodically check the Micro SD card for errors and available space. Use H.265 compression for longer retention on local storage and choose 4 MP resolution when detail is required for identification. Perform regular firmware updates through Reolink to keep performance and security current.
