Networking cable ROLINE 21.15.3935 RJ-45 Cat6a 2 m Green

The ROLINE 21.15.3935 RJ-45 Cat6a 2 m Green networking cable is a 2-metre twisted-pair cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends designed for structured network connections. Built to Cat6a performance class, the cable supports high-speed data transmission for Ethernet networks and is suitable for linking switches, routers, patch panels and network devices in home and office environments. The green jacket provides clear visual identification when organising multiple cables.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable provides higher bandwidth and improved performance over earlier categories, enabling reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections at appropriate distances. The U/UTP construction reduces external interference and keeps signal integrity stable for typical LAN installations. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends allow for immediate use without additional tools or assembly, and the 2 m length offers flexibility for desk- and rack-level connections while avoiding excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within home and office networks
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment in structured cabling
• Short runs in server cabinets or under desks where a 2 m cable is sufficient
• Colour-coded cable management and identification in multi-cable installations

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance class
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable type: Twisted pair, U/UTP (unshielded overall)
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other plug to the corresponding port on the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure link. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and maintain reasonable separation from sources of strong electromagnetic interference, such as large transformers or mains cables. Use appropriate cable management accessories to route and secure the cable neatly.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a cable for short to medium indoor connections where a 2 m length is appropriate. For installations requiring longer distances or additional protection against electromagnetic interference, consider selecting a different cable length or a shielded variant. Colour-coding cables like this green model helps maintain clear organisation in multi-cable environments.
