Networking Cable EFB Elektronik S/FTP Cat.6 RJ45 Black 1m

The EFB Elektronik S/FTP Cat.6 RJ45 networking cable, 1 m in length, is built for reliable high-speed data transmission and voice-over-IP (VoIP) applications. It uses S/FTP (PIMF) shielding and Cat.6 construction with 4 pairs of AWG26/7 conductors, and comes with moulded RJ-45 connectors coded to TIA/EIA-568B. The black cable features an extremely short moulded strain relief with clip protection to reduce connector stress and save space near patch panels or wall outlets.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (screened foil with individual pair shielding) design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable signal integrity. Cat.6 specifications and AWG26/7 stranded conductors provide stable performance for gigabit networks. Short moulded strain relief with clip protection offers secure connector retention and low profile routing in confined installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with networking equipment.

Suitable for

• VoIP telephony systems
• Gigabit Ethernet patching between switches, routers and wall ports
• Home and small office network connections
• Patching in data cabinets and patch panels with limited space

Key specifications

• Length: 1 m
• Category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF — foil overall with individually shielded pairs)
• Conductor: 4 x 2 x AWG26/7 (stranded)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, TIA/EIA-568B coded
• Colour: Black
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): K2460.1
• EAN: 4049759055707

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, VoIP phone or wall outlet) and the other plug to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip engages to maintain contact. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid running parallel to strong electrical cables to minimise interference. The short moulded strain relief reduces stress at the connector during installation and when used in tight spaces.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in gigabit networks and VoIP, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for patching short links (up to 1 m) inside racks, between patch panels and devices. Avoid excessive bending and pulling; do not exceed the recommended tensile stress for AWG26/7 patch cords.
