Networking cable EFB Elektronik K8093.25 RJ-45 Cat5e 25 m Green

The EFB Elektronik K8093.25 RJ-45 Cat5e networking cable is a 25 m green U/UTP cable designed for structured cabling and local area network connections. It provides Category 5e performance with gold-plated contacts on both RJ-45 connectors and supports data throughput up to 2500 Mbit/s, offering a combination of length and performance for workstation, switch and router connections.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable combines a 25 m reach with U/UTP construction to maintain signal integrity across longer runs in typical office and home environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts reduce corrosion and ensure a stable electrical connection. The cable’s green jacket allows easy visual identification within cable bundles or color-coded installations. The standard RJ-45 terminations make the cable compatible with common network equipment and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers and VoIP phones to switches or routers
• Patch cabling between wall outlets and network equipment
• Temporary or permanent cabling in small offices, home networks and server rooms
• Color-coded installations and cable management where visual distinction is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat5e, U/UTP
• Length: 25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data throughput: up to 2500 Mbit/s
• Outer jacket colour: green

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the jacket or internal pairs. Insert each RJ-45 plug fully into the corresponding port until the latch clicks. For fixed installations, secure the cable along trays or cable channels and leave strain relief at connector ends to prevent pull forces. Test the connection with a network tester or by checking link/activity LEDs on network devices to confirm proper connectivity and expected data rates.

Recommendations

Place the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large motors or unshielded power lines to reduce interference. For mixed cable bundles, consider separating power and data lines where possible. Use appropriate cable ties or Velcro straps to avoid compressing the cable and maintain performance over the full 25 m length.
