Network transmitter Edimax GP-101ET

The Edimax GP-101ET is a 1-port Gigabit PoE+ extender that increases Power over Ethernet (PoE) reach by an additional 100 meters (328 ft). It passes both data and IEEE 802.3at/af compliant power over standard Ethernet cabling at Gigabit speeds without requiring extra power sources or configuration. How to use

Connect the upstream PoE switch or injector to the GP-101ET input port using standard Ethernet cable. Plug the downstream Ethernet cable from the GP-101ET output to the Powered Device (for example an access point, camera or IP phone). The device functions immediately as a plug-and-play PoE extender without additional setup; LEDs indicate link/activity and PoE status. No separate power adapter is required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation keep individual cable runs within the overall PoE distance budget (100 m to the extender plus 100 m from the extender to the PD). Use quality shielded or unshielded twisted-pair cables that meet 10/100/1000Base-T specifications and verify that the upstream PoE source supports IEEE 802.3at/af to ensure sufficient power delivery.
