How to use

Install the switch on a stable surface or inside an equipment cabinet. Connect the uplink ports to an existing router or core switch using Cat5e or better cabling to integrate the device into the network. Plug PoE-enabled devices into any of the eight RJ45 PoE ports; the switch will deliver both data and power automatically without additional configuration. Use appropriate cable lengths and ensure the total connected PoE load does not exceed the device’s available power budget. For safety, place the switch where it is protected from moisture and extreme temperatures.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables and distribute PoE devices across ports to avoid concentrating maximum power draw on adjacent ports. Connect the uplink to a managed core if VLANs or advanced routing are required elsewhere in the network. Position the switch in a ventilated area and avoid stacking under heat-generating equipment.
