EFB Elektronik FTTH-BOX-IN-6 is a compact network junction box for FTTH and indoor cable terminations. The white plastic housing measures 80 × 80 × 28 mm and provides a protected enclosure for drop cables, splices and connector adapters. The box accepts different drop cable arrangements and can be mounted on a DIN rail or fixed to a wall with screws.

Advantages

The box supports internal splicing of drop cable with pigtails and also accepts pre-terminated drop cables with LC or SC connectors without requiring additional splicing. It can accommodate 1/2/4F SC connections or 2/4F LC connections. How to use

Open the enclosure and route the incoming drop cable or pre-terminated cable into the box. For pre-terminated LC or SC drop cables, secure the connector adapters in the designated positions; no splice is required. For drop cables that require pigtails or splicing, place fibers into the splice cassette and protect splices using the appropriate sleeves (1.2 mm for buffered fibers or 0.5 mm for bare fibers) or crimp splice method. Close the enclosure and mount the box on a DIN rail or fix to the wall with screws.
