The ALLNET ALL-GHN102-COAX Gigabit Ethernet Bridge uses existing coaxial TV wiring to extend a home network without new cabling. It implements G.hn technology to provide up to 500 Mbps over TV coax as a home-network backbone and offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting devices such as PCs, set-top boxes, smart TVs or Wi‑Fi access points. The device is IEEE-compliant and designed for low power consumption, includes a built-in filter to reduce interference with TV signals, and supports basic traffic management features for stable network operation.

How to use

Connect the ALL-GHN102-COAX to the household coaxial outlet and plug in the power supply. Use the RJ45 Ethernet ports to connect local devices (PC, TV, set-top box or Wi‑Fi AP) with standard Ethernet cables. Install a second G.hn bridge on another coax outlet in the desired room if you need to provide Ethernet there; the devices will form a coaxial backbone automatically. Monitor link and status LEDs to confirm successful connections.

Recommendations

Place the bridge near the coaxial wall outlet and avoid placing heavy RF-emitting equipment nearby. For optimal performance, keep the number of splitters and degraded coax segments to a minimum and ensure connected devices support Gigabit Ethernet if full throughput is required.
