How to use

Install the ALL-SG8324M on a desktop, on a wall or in a rack using the supplied brackets. Connect devices to the RJ-45 ports; the switch will auto-negotiate 10/100/1000 Mbps and full/half duplex. Configure network settings, VLANs, link aggregation, QoS and security policies via the web GUI, CLI or SNMP according to site requirements. Enable IGMP snooping for multicast streams and set ACLs and IP‑MAC‑Port‑VID bindings to restrict access to sensitive resources.

Recommendations

For mixed voice, video and data environments enable QoS and Voice VLAN to prioritise latency‑sensitive traffic. Use link aggregation for uplinks needing higher throughput and enable storm control and ACLs to mitigate broadcast storms and ARP/DoS attacks. Regularly back up configuration via the management interface and monitor the switch with SNMP for early detection of abnormal events.
