How to use

Connect powered devices to the MS108TUP PoE ports and uplink the switch to your network backbone. Access the local management interface through a web browser for initial configuration or register the device with NETGEAR Insight Cloud to enable remote monitoring and centralized management. Use the GUI or Lite CLI to configure VLANs, QoS, ACLs and PoE settings; schedule PoE and enable PoE self-healing or uninterrupted PoE if required. For troubleshooting, run the built-in cable test, view logs via SNMP/RMON or use Insight dashboards for remote diagnostics and firmware updates.

Recommendations

For deployments with multiple WiFi 6 access points or many PoE devices, enable NETGEAR Insight Cloud management to centrally monitor PoE usage, configure power schedules and apply consistent VLAN, ACL and QoS policies across devices. Ensure total PoE budget planning when powering several high-wattage devices and mount the fanless switch in a well-ventilated area to maintain thermal stability.
