How to use

Install the GS516UP in a standard rack or on a shelf and connect uplink and endpoint devices using Cat5e/6 cables. Connect PoE devices to the PoE ports; the switch will supply power according to the selected PoE mode. By default the switch operates in 802.3bt mode to deliver up to 60W to compatible devices. If you need to power older pre‑802.3bt devices, switch the unit to pre‑802.3bt mode so those devices receive appropriate power levels. Note that setting the switch to pre‑802.3bt mode prevents delivery of full PoE++ (60W) to native 802.3bt devices, and such devices may only receive up to 15W in that mode.
